“UAE construction giant ASGC appointed Enerwhere as the temporary power provider for their site office in Dubai Creek Harbor. Enerwhere will power the site office as a proof of concept for 6 months to showcase the capabilities and reliance of its system. Enerwhere is also expected to expand its services and takeover temporary power provision for The Palace construction site along with other ASGC projects currently running in UAE and potentially overseas.

The solar-hybrid system installed at ASGC P308 Main Office consists of 56 kWp of solar capacity expected to contribute about 20% of overall energy production, coupled with fuel efficiency improvements on the generators end, reducing ASGC CO2 emissions by 44% annually using clean, economical, and reliable energy.

ASGC site office serves as the Main Office for The Palace Hotel and Residences, a 5-star waterside hotel and residence expected to be completed by Q4 2023 featuring 121 key Palace Hotel and 587 branded residences. The project is jointly developed by Emaar and Address Hotels and Resorts. ASGC is a vertically integrated construction group that is best known for delivering turnkey special projects in the UAE and have expanded to Egypt and the UK. ASGC employs more than 18,000 personnel in its workforce worldwide and has annual revenues of over USD 1 billion.

Enerwhere is the Middle East’s leading provider of sustainable off-grid power solutions for commercial and industrial customers. Our portfolio of over 50 successful hybrid projects is one of the largest in the world, and by far the most extensive in the Middle East, with significant project experience across the construction, hospitality, oil & gas, mining and other sectors.

Working with industry leaders, Enerwhere has installed the largest solar system on a construction site at the Dubai Uptown Tower project last year and powered more than 20 construction sites across the UAE. This helped deliver iconic projects such as Brookfield ICD Palace, The Dubai Mall – Zabeel, Galleria Mall Abu Dhabi, Address Beach Resorts, Leaders Sports Complex, Al Shindagha Bridge, and many others, helping the country achieve its carbon emission and sustainability goals for the construction sector.

About Enerwhere

Enerwhere is a distributed utility company and the global leader in renewable energy solutions for the temporary & off-grid power markets. The company provides electricity services to commercial & industrial customers without a stable grid connection, using its proprietary suite of solar-hybrid mini-grids, which cover power requirements from 200 kW up to 20 MW.

Enerwhere’s dedicated team of engineers uses high-resolution data analytics to assess each client’s energy requirements on a second-by-second basis and uses this information to tailor a complete energy solution using a combination of different power sources, including solar PV and batteries, supported by high-efficiency gas and diesel generators.

Enerwhere’s sustainable power solutions help clients across the construction, real estate, hospitality, mining & waste management industries to reduce fuel costs & carbon emissions while increasing reliability of their operations.

Enerwhere estimates that it has reduced carbon emissions by over 20,000 tonnes of CO2 equivalent to date.”
