Fujitsu corporation announced that on October 4, 2022 (Japan, Europe, and the Americas) and October 12, 2022 (Asia and Oceania), it will manage its global flagship online event, Fujitsu ActivateNow 2022, showcasing its perspective, technology, and case studies for promoting Sustainability Transformation through digitalisation to various stakeholders, including society, customers, partners, and next-generation leaders.
The event will feature global programmes this year, such as keynote speeches by Fujitsu Group CEO and CDXO Takahito Tokita and CTO Vivek Mahajan, panel sessions with special guest speakers, and regional programmes hosted by business executives that expose how Fujitsu delivers solutions to critical societal issues for a sustainable future, under the theme of ‘Driving Sustainability Transformation through Digital Innovation.’
As mankind confronts the existential danger given by environmental concerns such as climate change, as well as societal challenges such as poverty, human rights, ageing populations, and global pandemics, the globe faces increasing uncertainty and fast change. Global business and social leaders must shift their perspectives and embrace a new business paradigm based on environmental and social sustainability.
Fujitsu believes that the most significant business concerns over the next ten years will revolve around how to change enterprises to enhance the economy, society, and the environment using the power of digital innovation—Sustainability Transformation will be critical. Moreover, determined by our purpose of making the world more financially viable by establishing trust in society through innovation,” we are progressing our management and business operations through Fujitsu Uvance, a portfolio of global solutions that address customers’ business challenges while also contributing to societal issues.
Clients will provide official keynote speeches and panel discussion sessions at the third annual ActivateNow global digital flagship event. This year’s programme will include sessions by special guest speakers trying to offer their insights into achieving Sustainability Transformation, such as Nico Rosberg, a former F1 World Champion who is now working diligently toward the realisation of a sustainable society as an entrepreneur and investor, and Miku Hirano, CEO of Cinnamon AI, who was selected for the World Economic Forum’s 2022 class of Young Global Leaders.
