Gianmatteo Manghi, CEO of Cisco Italy, was honoured for his efforts in the Second Chance project.
For the past 20 years, Cisco Italy has been instructing convicts in Italian jails to acquire Cisco Academy certificates.
They have trained over 1500 people and are now teaching over 200 people every year. Most have received fundamental information, some have obtained the most essential Cisco certification, and all who have served their sentences have had no relapses.
Second Chance for the Homeless and Refugees: In collaboration with the Community of Sant’Egidio, they have initiated a project to house at least 40 homeless people by 2023, as well as a Syrian refugee family.
Some of these stories of inclusion were compiled into a film documentary titled “Second Chance,” which was presented by the Italian actress Cristiana Capotondi.
We are delighted to have witnessed his and his company’s initiatives. Congratulations on your commitment!
