DUBAI, United Arab Emirates: Emirates NBD, the largest banking and financial services group in the MENAT (Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey) region, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and contract for Honeywell Forge Connected Services to endorse the organisations’ mutual strategic objective of integrating environmental considerations through energy-efficient development innovations, implementing technological advancement and advancement, and incorporating the UAE Net Zero 2050 growth strategy.
The two-part Honeywell Forge Connected Services agreement will endorse Emirates NBD Group’s sustainability initiatives throughout its building assets by dispatching Honeywell’s fully prepared solutions to boost efficiencies and help reduce carbon footprint in Emirates NBD Facility Management-managed characteristics. This will help the banking company achieve its goal of helping the UAE Net Zero by 2050 Strategic Initiative by setting new digitalization milestones.
Honeywell will implement its corporate performance management system, Honeywell Forge, throughout Emirates NBD’s capital projects as part of negotiations, assisting the Group in improving energy usage and operating efficiency while optimizing the occupant experience in its buildings. The Emirates NBD Group’s properties total 5.77 million square feet, including 2,530,107 square feet of living housing, 2,732,369 square feet of commercial space, and 509,867 square feet of retail space.

The MoU will also enable Emirates NBD clients to access to Honeywell’s available now cloud-based and building technology solutions, which may aid in the achievement of environmental objectives such as renewable energy and emissions reductions. Honeywell solutions will assist clients in increasing energy savings, tracking carbon emissions, and lowering operating costs through smarter energy and water management. Furthermore, Honeywell’s software platform will give real-time analytics to allow maximum performance efficiency, enhance uptime, and positively influence the bottom line while enhancing building user comfort levels.
