More on Hein Schumacher, CEO of Royal FrieslandCampina, Netherlands.
After seven years of absence, FrieslandCampina’s infant nutrition brand Friso will be available again in the Netherlands through the largest Dutch online retailer Bol.com and Friso.nl.
Berndt Kodden, President FrieslandCampina Specialised Nutrition: ”With our 150 years of Dutch dairy expertise, we know what is important for small children. Friso stands for premium quality from grass to glass. That is something we simply cannot withhold from the Dutch market.”
You don’t grow up overnight
The launch of Friso in the Netherlands is supported by a campaign with the title ’You don’t grow up overnight’. It shows small children that have great ambitions to become, for example a manager, influencer or food critic. Growing up comes with trial and error and, of course, the right nutrition.*
Friso is one of FrieslandCampina’s biggest brands. Its products are sold in more than 25 countries and available for different age categories: infants, babies and young children. In the Netherlands, the products Frisolac 1, Friso 2 and Friso 3 are available via Bol.com and Friso.nl.
After being owned by another company for a short time, FrieslandCampina bought back the Friso Dutch brand rights in 2014. This was under the condition that for seven years it would only sell through pharmacies and not do any promotion or media outreach.
