Marco Bellezza, CEO of Infratel Italia, was awarded for his contribution to the Castel del Monte Holomuseum project.
HoloMuseum, a project based on Microsoft’s Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, and Mixed Reality technologies, infinitely enhances and amplifies an exhibition’s narrative and expositive capacity, allowing visitors to integrate additional informative and experiential levels beyond those provided by the physical layout.
The system enables a visit in the mode of sharing an experience at a distance, allowing anybody from anywhere in the globe to virtually “enter” the castle, follow the exhibition path, and interact with all of its multimedia components, achieving the same degree of participation as a visit on site.
The project is structured in the theoretical-applicative framework of how to evolve tourism today, blending classic models with new digital models, while taking two strategic considerations into account. People today want experiences that are as linked as possible, even when travelling.
Art and culture must be elevated and strengthened since they are valuable societal inheritances. Admiring works of art allows individuals to realise how crucial it is to have new and distinct perspectives.
We are honoured to have learned about his and his company’s initiatives. Congratulations on your achievement!
